It’s that time of year when the weather warms up, the pools are crystal blue, looking really inviting and we can’t wait to take our first swim of the season. However the water is still a bit cold, which is a little off putting, so we wait until February when the weather is really hot and we look forward to being cold, even if just for a short while. However, we needn’t wait till the water is warmer to take our first summer swim. Make a change and brave the cold pool this summer as there are numerous benefits of swimming or exercising in cold water too. Don’t get me wrong, exercising in warmer water is hugely beneficial, especially to the pain sufferer, however, the cold has its advantages too.
