As we celebrate Heritage day we think of where we came from and where we are heading to. Out with the old, in with the new. New beginnings.
According to the Collins English Dictionary heritage can be defined as something inherited at birth, such as personal characteristics, status and possessions; anything that has been transmitted from the past or handed down by tradition; a way of life.
If we think of the human body, we start out as babies in the foetal position and, as we grow, develop into tall, proud and confident humans, or that is what it should be like. But together with technology and loads of office, desk and computer work, we inherit bad postures leading to aches and pains in our spine, joints and muscles.
