Recently I attended a workshop on Child Neuropsychology and was struck by the interesting and fascinating information that constantly emerges through research in the field of neuroscience.  As one moves through shopping malls and passes billboards on the roadside at the moment, the red hearts and valentine flowers bombard us and send us a powerful message around the theme of ‘love’.  Although this emotion is generally considered to be ‘heartfelt’, it actually originates in one of the oldest parts of the brain, called the limbic system, otherwise called the ‘emotional brain’.
